Every once in a while you see a phone that’s so impressive you can’t ignore it, even if you know it’s not going to be your next phone. Such is the case with the Turing Phone, a Lollipop-powered Android handset that’s not only supposed to be more durable than any other smartphone on the planet, it’s also seemingly far more secure than rival handsets.

As CNET reports, the Turing Phone, made by Turing Robotic Industries, is made by liquidmorphium and it features advanced data security.
Liquidmorphium isn’t the metal injected into Wolverine’s body. It’s an “amorphous alloy of zirconium, copper, aluminum, nickel and silver,” and it has an atomic structure that’s more like glass than aluminum or steel, but much stronger than either of those metals. The phone also has certain elements made of ceramic and aluminum.
The Turing Phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display, 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, 13-megapixel camera and 3,000 mAh battery.
As for the Android security side of things, the Turing Phone is probably a rival for Silent Circle’s Blackphone handset. The device packs a Turing Imitation Key security chip that authenticates encryption locally, which means it’s always offline and out of hackers’ reach, unlike third-party services that issue security certificates from online servers. The downside of the feature appears to be that you can only exchange encrypted data in such a manner with other Turing Phone owners.
The Turing Phone will start selling on August 10th priced at $750 for the 64GB model and $870 for the 128GB model. A 16GB version is also in the works, but pricing isn’t available yet.
More pictures showing the Turing Phone follow below.

Microsoft has a way to replace Android with Windows 10.

Microsoft has crafted its own technology that can transform Android phones into Windows 10 devices.
While announcing the summer launch of Windows 10, Microsoft also revealed on Tuesday an agreement with Chinese mobile device maker Xiaomi. Under the plan, some owners of the Xiaomi Mi 4, an Androidsmartphone, will be able to install and test the Windows 10 Technical Preview in order to provide feedback to Microsoft.
So just how will people be able to install Windows 10 on an Android device? Through a custom-based ROM, TechXperts reported Wednesday. Such ROMs (read-only memory), which are essentially installable images of an operating system, are typically used to overwrite a device's existing OS with a customized one. For example, CyanogenMod offers a customized Android ROM that can replace the Android build that comes with a device. In this case, the flashed ROM would override Android, thereby transforming the device into a full-fledged Windows 10 phone outfitted with the necessary Microsoft services.
In an update to TechXperts's original story, Microsoft confirmed that Xiaomi Mi4 owners will be able to "flash" Windows 10 on their devices. "This partnership will allow Xiaomi and Microsoft to get direct user feedback and continue to improve the experience for China. Microsoft is thrilled to see Xiaomi embracing Windows 10," Microsoft said in a statement to TechCrunch.
So far, the program is limited to China and just to Xiaomi. So this doesn't necessarily mean Microsoft will expand its Windows 10 transformation technology to other companies or countries. However, Microsoft reportedly does have plans to make its custom Windows 10 ROMs available to more devices in time, according to TechCrunch.
A spokeswoman for Microsoft said the company had nothing further to share at this time.
Windows 10 is slated to launch this summer in 190 countries and 111 languages. A free upgrade for anyone using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1., the new OS is designed to run on smartphones, tablets and PCs and to offer a more consistent experience across different devices.
•iPhone user who is curious about the Android operating system ,good news for them  there is a new hack that lets you run Android Lollipop on your iPhone 6.
•Only thing you need is a jailbroken version of iOS on your iPHONE 6
•THEN, you'll need the Andrios app, which calls itself "an Android experience for iOS
•Basically, what Andrios does is it takes the user interface features of Android Lollipop and applies them to your iPhone. You will not get the whole features of android, but main elements such as such as the Google search bar, the action bar buttons, the notification center, lock screen notifications, Android's power menu, the music playback widget and Android volume sliders.
•The app is not ready yet and off course it would be a paid app (approx 4$)
•You can choose between LOLLIPOP and KITKAT,which acc to me is a cool feature
•It seems that Andrios might already be a big hit. The developers are promising that the app is "almost ready," so expect a release soon, possibly within the next few months.

In most electronics nowadays performance is king and the more bit-crunching power you can put out, the better. This is not exactly the case with smartphones, though, where power efficiency is equally if not more important.
This being said, however, no true power-user can deny that having more power under the hood is always better and in the mobile realm Samsung currently has the lead, by a long margin. The latest Exynos 7420 chipset, found in the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge is way ahead of its competition in sheer performance and according to a new rumor, the Korean giant has something even better in store.
According to the latest reports the next Exynos chip will be powered by custom cores, rather than the stock Cortex A72 silicon.

The SoC is allegedly codenamed "Mongoose" and will be clocked at 2.3 GHz. The rumor also cites a single-core Geekbench score, which is impressive, to say the least. The number is around 2200, which is about 45% better than the current Exynos.
Now, this should be taken with a grain of salt, as it is entirely in the realm of rumors, at least for now. Furthermore, even if this information is true and Samsung powered the Galaxy Note 5 or the next Galaxy S device with the new entirely custom chip, raw-power does not necessarily translate into real-world performance and a lot of other factors have to be considered as well, most notably - battery life.

Xiaomi is all set to launch a new device on April 23 in India. This will also be a global launch for this phone, details of which are not yet out. Xiaomi has released a tweet with the teaser image of the invite.
Unlike previous phone launches, which were introduced in India months after their international launch, this phone will be launched in India ahead of all other markets, including China. Xiaomi CEO and founder Lei Jun and president Bin Lin will also be in attendance along with global vice president Hugo Barra.
The tweet redirects to Xiaomi’s homepage which only says ‘i IS COMING’ and has a button to register for the event as well.
That India is an important market for Xiaomi is quite evident from the monster sales of all of its smartphones launched in India so far. Xiaomi has already announced that it will not be selling phones exclusively on Flipkart anymore, and Snapdeal and Amazon will also be stocking Xiaomi phones. Xiaomi also entered the Guinness Book of World Records after it managed to sell around 2.11 million phones in its 12-hour flash sale organised to celebrate its 5-year anniversary.
Xiaomi has yet to launch its flagship phones Mi Note and Mi Note Pro in India. But considering the tweet says it will be a ‘Global Mi phone premiere’, it looks like the phone will be a new device. It should most likely be the Mi 5. The company had said that it would be working on Lollipop-based MIUI 7 user interface along with Android Open Kang Project (popularly known as AOKP). In a blogpost, AOKP revealed that team Kang members are working with Xiaomi for a new refreshed MIUI 7 that will be based on Lollipop 5.1 and come equipped in the Mi 5.
Will it be the Xiaomi Mi 5? We will find out soon.
